Product Description

The VIP Instrument Programming Tool allows technicians to develop customized, automated test procedures without any prior programming experience. There is no need to install software drivers or scripting languages, special configuration programs, or write complex mathematical routines. The VIP programming tool removes the complexities of traditional programming by leveraging the power Microsoft Excel™ allowing technicians to create scripts as simple or complex as necessary. Viavi's instrument programming language provides the tools to preform conditional statements, programming loops, and generate formatted test reports. Easy to read reports can be generated to include supporting graphics such as channel analyzer plots and distribution graphs.
