Integrated Battery Back-up System (IBBS) receives STL AML approval

TCW Technologies is please to announce the Supplemental Type Certification (STC) under an extensive Approved Model List (AML) for their Integrated Battery Back-up System (IBBS) has been received.   This STC-AML allows for the installation of the IBBS in over 200 of the most popular models of GA aircraft from Piper, Cessna, Mooney, Beechcraft, and Grumman. The following IBBS products have been approved: 

  • 12 volt, 3 amp-hour, Li-Fi-PO4 Integrated Battery Back-up System (IBBS-12v-3ah-CRT-V)
  • 12 volt, 6 amp-hour, Li-Fi-PO4 Integrated Battery Back-up System (IBBS-12v-6ah-CRT-V)
  • 24 volt, 3 amp-hour, Li-Fi-PO4 Integrated Battery Back-up System (IBBS-24v-3ah-CRT-V)
The FAA approved models of the IBBS have been tested to TSO-C179(b) and DO-160:


The IBBS system is suitable and approved for use with all avionics equipment including:   EFIS systems, Navigation radios, Communication radio, VFR & IFR GPS Navigators, Electronic Ignition systems, Engine monitors, ADS-B and Transponder devices, Audio panels and Annunciator panels.
