Regional Sales Manager (RSM)

Job Type: Full-Time, Exempt (1.0 FTE)
Location: Spokane Valley, WA: 25-50% travel expected
Salary: $50,000 – $70,000, plus incentive plan

Job Summary:
We are seeking a mission-driven Regional Sales Manager with a background in military aviation or defense contracting.
This individual will be responsible for generating new business, fostering strong professional relationships, and promoting
avionics test equipment and related vendor products.
Retired military personnel, especially those with maintenance or avionics experience, are strongly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain relationships with military aviation units, government procurement offices, MRO
    facilities, and commercial aerospace professionals.
  • Promote, demonstrate, and support avionics test equipment and components to both new and existing
    customers.
  • Represent the company with professionalism in military and defense industry settings.
  • Collaborate with vendor partners to increase product visibility and drive sales within the military and
    defense sectors.
  • Deliver product training and technical guidance to ensure customer success.
  • Develop and execute territory-specific sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Attend defense-related trade shows, industry events, and on-base demonstrations.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, market intelligence, and sales activities.
  • Work closely with internal teams including technical support, marketing, and product development.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in aviation or avionics, preferably in a military or defense environment.
  • Deep understanding of military maintenance operations, avionics systems, and test equipment.
  • Proven ability to communicate with and influence senior decision-makers in government or military
    settings.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Preferred: Retired military (USAF, Navy, Army, Marines, Coast Guard) with experience in aviation
    maintenance, supply chain/logistics, or avionics.
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Aviation, or a related field.
