Regional Sales Manager (RSM)

Job Type: Full-Time, Exempt (1.0 FTE)

Location: TBD, 25-35% travel expected

Salary: $50,000 – $75,000, DOE, plus commission eligible


Job Summary:

This Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth, managing customer relationships, and expanding market presence within an assigned territory. This role will focus on developing new business opportunities while strengthening relationships with existing customers in the aviation and maritime industries.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve or exceed revenue and margin goals.
  • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities, with an emphasis on aviation and maritime markets.
  • Manage and grow existing customer accounts through proactive engagement, needs assessment, and solution-based selling.
  • Build strong relationships with OEMs, suppliers, and key industry stakeholders.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to inform sales strategies.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market trends.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and product development, to enhance our customer experience and product offerings.

 

 


Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Aviation, Maritime, or related field (preferred), or equivalent experience.
  • 1-2 years of sales experience, preferred.
  • Strong understanding of distribution models, supply chain processes, and customer needs in technical industries.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel frequently.
  • Preferred: Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to adapt to competitive and evolving market.
  • Preferred: Comfortable leveraging CRM systems, sales analytics, and AI-driven  tools to optimize performance.
