The SunSpot 36 Equinox is the highest-value PAR36 lighting solution offered by AeroLEDs, combining 100W Landing and Taxi performance with integrated Pulse functionality in a single LED platform. Designed for pilots operating in night, day, and reduced-visibility conditions, the Equinox delivers full dual-mode capability in one PAR36 footprint—ideal for single-light or multi-light installations.

In landing mode, the Equinox delivers a focused 20° × 20° beam optimized for takeoffs and landings. In taxi mode, it transitions to a wider 35° × 50° beam for broad, uniform illumination during ground operations. Integrated Pulse (WigWag) Technology comes standard, improving aircraft conspicuity while operating without external controllers and drawing up to 50% less current than incandescent systems.

Built on the proven SunSpot Series platform, the Equinox provides superior total light output and beam quality while drawing less power than traditional incandescent lamps.
