This ELT to NAV interface connects the aircrafts Flight Management Computer (FMC) or GPS receiver with an Artex 406MHz Series of ELTs (G406-4, C406-1, C406-2, C406-1 HM, C406-2 HM). This ELT navigation interface is capable of providing information such as type of aircraft, owner, emergency contacts, country code, aircraft ID or ELT serial number, ELT manufacturer, and latitude and longitude position when properly registered.
Advanced features allow users to customize the 24-bit address (mode S number) that is assigned to the aircraft eliminating the need to reprogram an ELT before installing it into a different aircraft. The ELT/NAV interface meets TSO C126 and JTSO-2C126 requirements as a 406 MHz ELT system component.
