Product Description

The AV-590 electronic COM switch allows two communications radios to share the same communications antenna. In receive mode, the AV-590 acts as a splitter providing signal to both radios; in transmit mode, a control signal is sent from the audio panel to the AV-590 to switch the AV-590 to the selected radio therefore isolating the remaining radio from the AV-590 electric switch. When the transmission is complete, the control signal is removed and the AV-590 reverts back into receive mode.
