Civilian ICS (Inter Communication Systems) are designed to be compatible with high impedance headsets with amplified microphones. Military ICS Systems are configured to accept low impedance headsets with unamplified microphones. The CIHL Series Adapters are designed to interface high impedance headsets to operate with military ICS systems.

This under panel type high to low impedance adapter cable (EDMO# CIHL-X-011) is used with standard, non-ANR headsets and has 11-inch cables to the headset, power, and ICS.
