Some FBPT Series tips require a BAP, or barrel assembly. A BAP contains a common set of optics that can be used with multiple hollow tips. This approach makes many common tips more economical.

This long barrel assembly (EDMO# FBPT-P3750) for use with P5000i probe microscope. The total length is 7.5 inches (19.5 cm). A FBP 3-UA adapter is required when using a single core tip.
