Product Description

The TSK8000 Twist-Strip™ tool is designed to make precise cuts to the jacket of shielded, multi-conductor, twisted cable and provide a quick, safe, accurate and repeatable method for preparing avionic wiring harnesses as well as other cable types. Precise blade adjustment, zero friction roller bearing design, articulating/locking arms, and interchangeable dies make the Twist-Strip a user-friendly and efficiently designed tool.

The TSK8000 uses custom dies (sold separately) with adjustable cutting blades which compensate for irregularities in the cables jacket. The dies are engineered with a track that match the contour of the cable's outer jacket to provide a controlled rotation of the tool and guides the cutting blades along the length of the cable.
