Product Description

Pacer's 8 AWG UL marine wire is designed to handle the harshest marine environments. It is built to meet and exceed the most stringent specifications. This 8 AWG marine wire is manufactured in-house in Sarasota FL, USA to ensure the absolute highest level of quality. This wire is constructed from Type III class K tinned copper. It is designed to offer excellent flexibility and durability. The copper conductors are tinned to resist corrosion. This process adds to the life of the wire.

What type of insulation is used during the manufacturing process? Well, once the copper is tinned, the next part of the process insulates the wire. This insulation adds a PVC jacket that is flexible and durable. It is designed to protect the wire and make it resistant to a variety of hazards. Some of the hazards are; alkali, abrasion, acid, gas, oil, flame, and moisture. What standards and compliances does Pacer's wire meet? This marine wire exceeds the standards and requirements of ABYC, NMMA, and UL.

This UL marine primary wire (EDMO# WUL8BK-250) is 8 AWG, has black PVC insulation, and comes on a 250 ft spool.
