Product Description

The NPX138N Panel-mount FM Transceiver is a USFS-compliant radio designed specifically to fulfill contract-required functionality. This transceiver allows for easy access to all pre-programmed channels and has the ability to add channels on the fly. This compact and lightweight radio functions as a stand-alone radio for single mission use and is perfect for space- and weight-restricted environments such as in a helicopter or light fixed-wing aircraft. Each of the 100 memory channels can store a receive frequency with CTCSS tone, a transmit frequency with CTCSS tone, scan function, and an alpha-numeric identifier on a 32-character LED display. An optional, synthesized, two-channel guard receiver allows tuning of user frequencies from the front panel during complex flight operations. Each channel is selectable for wideband and narrowband operation (5 kHz and 2.5 kHz deviation respectively). DTMF encoding and direct keyboard programming can be added using the DTE12 Tone Encoder/Data Entry Keypad.

This NPX138N Panel-mount FM transceiver (EDMO# 138N700-00) is wideband compatible and has 28 volt NVG compatible lighting.
