The PSDAF-KC135 Fuel Quantity Interface Unit permits compete functional checkout of the KC-135fuel system. The PSDAF-KC135 routes all needed signals to and from the PSD90-1C Fuel Quantity Test Set to accurately measure the capacitance of tank units, measure the tank probe resistance, calibrate the Tank Interface Unit (TIU) and simulate capacitance values for the operation of indicators.

The PSDAF-KC135 is shipped with all cables necessary to connect the PSD90-1C to the aircraft, including chassis ground cables for proper grounding to the aircraft.

• Potted probe adapter cables to connect to Tank Boundary Probe connectors that are not easily accessible (included)
• Two and three wire jumper required for TIU calibration (included)
• Shorting plugs to short the HI-Z, LO-Z. COMP and Shield paths together for measuring wiring harness resistance (included)
• Distance-To-Fault (DTF) measurement for locating a break in the shield of a coax or shielded wire
• Tank/Probe capacitance and resistance measurements from the TIU or Tank Boundary
• Simulation to the indicators from the Fuel Management Computer for indicator verification or calibration
