The Spring-Fast Shadow Box Tool Kit (EDMO# 830TK) is used to optimize Spring-Fast grommet edging installation and includes Full Bypass Cut Off Shears (830HP), a Sheet Thickness "Go/No-Go" Gauge (880 G), an Adhesive Backed Bench Top Measuring Scale (860 GSB), a Castle Removal Tool (890 G), and a Roll-Fast Roller (840R). Following 5S principles, Spring-Fast streamlines grommet application by removing gluing, fixturing, curing, & cleanup. Use the "go/no-go" gauge to measure the edge thickness to select the correct size of Spring-Fast. Based on the penetration size, use the benchtop measuring scale to measure the length of Spring-Fast needed. Cut the Spring-Fast grommet with the full bypass cut-off shears. Remove castles that interfere with existing components with the castle removal tool. Finally, fit onto the edge with the 0.5-inch application roller tool instead of finger pressure.
