The ASI-223 Zifor (Zero Indicator For OmniRange) III is intended to be a VOR radial standard providing the measurement capability and traceability link between the reference standard and operational test equipment. The ASI-223 may be used to check the audio output of any VOR audio generators such as the Collins 479S-5/6( ) or the Bendix RVG-33.
