Some FBPT Series inspection tips require a barrel assembly (BAP). A BAP contains a common set of optics that can be used with multiple hollow tips. This approach makes many common tips more economical. Some tips contain their own optics and do not require a BAP. Typical examples of tips containing optics are long-reach tips and tips with a 60-degree angle for hard-to-reach areas.

This barrel assembly (EDMO# FBPP-BAP4) is an ultra narrow (2.5 mm) barrel assembly for use with the P5000i and FiberChek inspection probes. It is used in conjunction with specific tips that require a narrower diameter and contains a common set of optics that can be used with multiple hollow tips.
