Description

The Model 246 Isolation Amplifier is designed to be form, fit, and function interchangeable with Collins Avionics Model 356C-4 isolation amplifier. Suitable for driving a 5-Watt speaker or for other 150 to 600 ohm loads such as headphones, the Model 246 is an excellent choice for cabin or cockpit applications. The Model 246 has an installer selectable (jumper) mic bias of 30mA @ 15 volts and is ideal for replacement of an existing Collins unit or in systems where additional amplification is required.
