Product Description

The RTS01 Remote Transmit Selector Panel adds capabilities and functions to any existing analog audio system to offer operators the benefits of remote transmit section (RTS), RX Activity Indication, and audio system expansion. Installation is designed to be simple with little to no impact on existing audio system wiring. The use of an external toggle switch allows pilots and operators to select a transceiver without the need to reach for the audio panel during busy flight operations so that full attention remains on critical aircraft controls and operations.

The RX Active feature allows pilots and operators to monitor which transceiver is currently active so that they can determine which radio they are actually listening to at any one time; the RX annunciator illuminates to show which transceiver is currently active regardless of which audio input is selected. The RTS expansion capability allows additional transceivers to be added to the communications system without having to remove and replace the entire audio system. Snap-in legends provide the ability to customize the label on each transceiver channel. Snap-in legends are required for operation but not included with the RST01 unit and must be ordered separately.

This RTS01 Remote Transmit Selector Panel (EDMO# RTS01-001) has standard lighting and 7 legends required per unit, use part numbers 155-06-xxxx.

Features

Snap-in legends are used in the front panel to allow customizable labeling for radio positions; legends are required to operate the RTS01 but are not included
Night vision goggle (NVG) mode available on some models; available with NVIS Green A backlighting and NVIS Green B annunciator
