Product Description

The FBPT Series probe tips attach to the FiberChek and FBP-P5000i Inspection Probes. Some of them can also be connected to the FiberChek Sidewinder with an adapter for use with simplex inspection. FBPT tips are primarily used for bulkhead inspection, but patch cord tips are also available for certain connectors.

This long-reach bulkhead inspection tip (EDMO# FBPT-LC-L) allows users to inspect a single channel while adjacent channels are still occupied by connectors or dust covers. Long-reach inspection tips provide about 1/2-inch more reach and do not have the forward retaining nut, so they can easily reach between ports. Inspects LC type connectors.
