Product Description

Start Pac's Portable Lithium-ion aircraft engine starting unit provides fast starts for electrically started turbine-powered engines. This lithium-ion GPU has been carefully designed for aircraft with voltage protection relays set lower than most aircraft which cannot accept a 28-volt starting source. Such aircraft includes, but not limited to: Agusta Westland AW139, Sikorsky S-76, Eclipse 500 and both the Phenom 100 and Phenom 300.

Start Pac patented technology provides faster and cooler engine starts than most manufacture aircraft batteries which extends engine life and lowers operating costs. Quick-change batteries can be changed in the field in less then a minute without requiring the use of any tools. In addition, certain aircraft will allow onboard recharging of a GPU unit without an AC power source — making this portable engine starting unit virtually maintenance-free.

This Lithium aircraft engine starting unit (EDMO# LI2700QC) provides a 26 VDC output for voltage sensitive aircraraft, 2,400 peak current amps, and built-in float-type charger.
