Start Pac's Mobile Lithium-ion aircraft engine starting unit provides fast starts for electrically started turbine-powered engines. This lithium-ion GPU is specifically designed for engine starting and uses the lightest lithium-ion technology on the market. This makes it easier to be carried out in the field and used for reliable engine starts – saving the onboard, airborn batteries for emergency starts.

Start Pac patented technology provides faster and cooler engine starts than most manufacture aircraft batteries which extends engine life and lowers operating costs. Quick-change batteries can be changed in the field in less then a minute without requiring the use of any tools. In addition, certain aircraft will allow onboard recharging of a GPU unit without an AC power source — making this portable engine starting unit virtually maintenance-free.
