Product Description

Now Available! A Radio Conversion Kit that is compatible for use with the Motorola ASTRO__ and XTL__ 5000 Digital Mobile Radios. This new kit provides all required interface functions and is mounted in the aircraft by way of a standard tray assembly. The voltage is converted from the standard aircraft 28 VDC to 14 VDC through a switching regulator with over voltage, over current and thermal protection. Speaker output and mic input levels and impedances are converted for connection to a standard aircraft audio system, and the kit produces artificial side-tone. The result is a radio that looks and operates just like an aircraft radio.
