The UM725 25-watt, fixed mount marine radio allows users to send private text messages using the VHF marine radio. Instead of broadcasting to all boats in the area, users can enjoy the privacy of boat to boat text messaging. The UM725 radio features IPX8 submersible rating, NOAA weather channels, DSC distress send and receive, and equipped with a speaker microphone.
