The MIT420/2 from Megger is a MIT400 series CAT IV insulation tester with polarization index, dielectric absorption ratio functions, variable test voltage range and result storage. It is designed for a wide range of applications from electrical installations, cable testing, motor testing, automotive, panel building, avionics, and maintenance. This unit features a variable range that allows any intermediate voltage from 10 volts to 1,000 volts in 10 volt steps where application specific test voltages are required that do not appear in standard ranges. It has a weatherproof tough housing, back stand, and six-cell battery compartment with separate fuse access.
